Linda Jo Smith is no stranger to Riehlife readers. Not only does she provide creative community programs for the Schlafly library in my neighborhood. She’s also an accomplished poet and storyteller.
Linda Jo Smith, fondly called “Miss Linda,” is a teller of the tales we have all come to know and love – with a twist of urban living at its best…and worst.
As a writer and storyteller Miss Linda paints hilarious images of her childhood as well as putting an “urban” spin on familiar fairy tales reflecting the issues of our times.
She held us in her spell at Yeyo Arts Collective as she told stories from her collection “Treasury of Twisted Tales.” These deserve to go far and wide into the world. And, the world needs her healing words.
